Sri Sathya Sai Baba Teachings

First you have to question yourself as: Why have you born on his earth? Our life on this earth is given by the grace of GOD. The life here is not just to eat, drink, spending the money lavishly and also in care less living. But it has a greater purpose on this earth i.e.; SELF REALISATION which means “Knowing the Divinity in you’’ and existing around you.  An enlightened person should not waste his valuable life in vain pursuits which are temporary and of no use. But by helping the poor, the diseased and the disabled, you will get the grace of GOD.  Man must develop two qualities: 1. Fear of sin2. Devotion to GOD     The nature of our main goal is – to realize the God. Never laugh at anybody (but laugh with them) and also not insult anybody. You are a part of this universe of GOD’s Creation, so you must be pure in thought and deed, truthful to your Conscience, free from egoism and be spotless. These good qualities must be manifested through you in your daily life. You should not take bribes, not scold others, and not harm others but talk to others with love, affection and full of sympathy. You may have accumulated wealth, acquired many degrees, and having name and fame in the society, it becomes no use, unless you have gained the vision of the SUPREME SOVEREIGN (GOD, The Almighty), and an aspiration to be ever in that ecstasy of that vision. All that achieved in this world are mere lumber with out GOD. Ex. Mahabharata is a great epic of India, which describes a war between the kauravas and the Pandavas. The kauravas had superior financial and military resources .They approach the Lord Krishna (The incarnation of GOD) for help in the … [Read more...]

Satya Sai Baba Teachings about righteousness

Sathya Sai Baba Teachings:  Sri Satya Sai Baba says that DHARMA (righteousness) purifies the mind and leads to GOD. It creates a taste for the name and the form of GOD.     For example when you love the name form of Lord Krishna (any other name of GOD), you will naturally respect and obey the Commands of Krishna found in the Bhagavad-Gita (songs of the GOD). Have the name on the tongue and of GOD in your eye, and then the demon called AASA (DESIRE), wilfully from your mind, leaving the joy content with in. This kind of constant dwelling on the indwelling GOD makes you to love human beings. You will then see only well in others.       Whatever the holy books you read, Sadhanas (Religious practices) you do and pilgrim centres you visit, until you get rid of the impurities in your mind in the heart, the life given by GOD becomes worthless and useless. Those whore pure in heart and mind, shall see the GOD.    First practice yourself, before you preach to others. People only will follow those who speak out of personal experience. Strive to acquire the grace of GOD which is the reward of Sadhana (Worship).    The highest form of worship is to follow the instructions of the Master (GOD).       God says that any institution or any individual engaged in practising DHARMA belongs to Me. God dwells in those who do well, speaks well and thinks good.       Man has to become aware his genuine Nature. Genuineness consists in being true to the deepest core. Man should be truthful in thought, deed and word. Otherwise there is no difference between him and animal. Animals are without thought and speech.       Dharma is the measure of Gnana (Wisdom). Gnani (Enlightened man) has the highest moral character … [Read more...]
