  Satya Sai Central Trust inducted 4 new members on Guru Purnima day. With their inclusion, total number of trust members increased to nine. Satya Sai Trust credibility reached all time low due to recent controversies. AP Government already studying the reports submitted by the Trust. Satya Sai pet elephant died at Puttaparthi

 The Pet Elephant of Indian spiritual guru Sri Satya Sai Baba, Sai Geeta, died on Tuesday around 6.15 PM. The elephant was suffering from illness for the past couple of months. Sai Geeta was 54-year old was died of illness. It was born in Muddumalai forests in kerala.   Significance of this elephant:     1. It was presented to Bhagavan Sri Satya Sai baba by the then Governor of Kerala, Ramakrishna Rao in 1962. 2. Sai Geeta used to wish Sathya Sai first on his birthday on November 23 every year by garlanding him. 3. It used to lead processions in Puttaparthi especially Birthday functions. 4. Once it went to Bangalore without any security to visit Satya Sai in White Fields. 5. It always send-off Baba at Puttaparthi airport.    Sai Geeta was buried near Puttaparthi indoor stadium on Wednesday. Sai Baba was found in tears during the traditional rites.       I have fond memories of Sai Geeta on my last visit to Puttaparthi on November 24, 2006. I offered citrus fruits to this beloved animal.
