Devotion in the right sense

In the heavenly forests of the Great Himalayas live a species of glamorous looking deers. Their navel liberates an attracting smell called ‘kasturi’. These deers unaware of the origin of the smell spends almost whole of its life wandering and searching for the smell in these freezing puzzle like jungles of the great Himalayas.

This example can be compared with man and God! God resides in the heart of man and man longs for that one moment when he could converse with God. He travels to all the holy places in search of God, but unaware of the fact that what he is searching for by traveling thousands of miles with all the sufferings, resides in his own heart. The only thing man needs is the realization of his presence in the man’s heart.

Praying to god is not like an agreement to tell that,” if God will fulfill my desire, I will gift something to the temple.” Or something like that. When man prays to God to help him achieve something in his life, he should have that faith in god just as a baby, due to his faith in his father does not get frightened on being thrown to air and back to his fathers safe hands. Have faith in God that he will fulfill all your needs and he will unquestionably fulfill it, but if you doubt, it will be like an insult to God.

Similarly, we need to know the subtle difference between “Prayer” and “Meditation”. Prayer means you are seeking your needs and wants as otherwise you in meditation and when in contemplation; you have intense conversation with the almighty God. That it shows how to release reservoir of latent creativity IN YOU.

You will then comfortable and serene as you are “just now” that means to say calm, peace prevailing with in and realization in your entire being.

Further when our eyes are open you are awake and see outward world and will be more materialistic. I see eyes’ closed “I” inward within what I am and who am I. Let your innate divine qualities emerge.

Good one, one needs to get into Worship and meditation to achieve salvation which is the ‘real’ goal of every mankind. While worshiping to any of your God or Goddess, take note of the following:
    1. Better to get into one ideal and get into in-depth dedication and worship of Him/Her.
    2. Dont seek for something in return of your worship, other than Nirvana or salvation.
    3. Worship with real love and in peaceful place without any other thoughts.
    4. Most important, whatever CHALISA or AARTI you are chanting, know its meaning and realize that word-to-word while doing worship. It will take time, but makes sense otherwise simply parrotting that wont be of any use.
