Sathya Sai Baba is a Spiritual guru from Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh, India.
1. Satya Sai Baba says that the consciousness that is present in the body is called “Atma”. It is also called conscience. Conscience is a reflection of the consciousness. When the conscience (Atma) ultimately leaves the body, it merges in the Universal, Consciousness and becomes one with it. This is the process of the many merging with the One (God).
2. Spirituality means looking upon the whole of mankind. This is the essence of Indian culture.
3. The Indwelling spirit is also known as Chaitanya Purusha (Enlightened being). It controls three bodies
1. Life
2. Mind
3. Knowledge.
4 The first task of a person is to develop awareness of the Divinity within. The next step is the realization of the truth, that the Divinity. That is within one’s self is equally present in all others.
5. The Universal Consciousness is present in every one-the One in the many. That Universal consciousness is the Truth. It is the Supreme Wisdom and infinite.
6. It is not easy to understand the nature of the Divine God. God is present every where and can undertake any kind of activity. No one is competent to ask weather God can do this are that. He can turn a hedonist into a yogi and a yogi into a hedonist.
7. The spiritual bank which saves us from distress and grief if we have in us, the Truth, Righteousness, peace and love. This bank dealing with spiritual accountants has also a safe deposit vault. Surrender your jewels of intelligence, Cleverness, capacity to serve others and your ego to the care of God, and then you will be happy. God asks us, “Surrender to me alone”.
The money which is acceptable in that spiritual bank comes only to those who struggle to be virtuous, detached, humble and holy.
8.Qualities like forbearance, Sympathy, truth, love and compassion are spiritual qualities and are always essential for people to leave peacefully anywhere and at all times.
9. Purity of mind, speech, and action are essential qualities to a devotee. Purity has its roots in righteousness. Truth is born of righteousness which in turn sustains Truth. Right conduct alone constitutes Dharma (Righteousness).
