First you have to question yourself as: Why have you born on his earth?
Our life on this earth is given by the grace of GOD. The life here is not just to eat, drink, spending the money lavishly and also in care less living. But it has a greater purpose on this earth i.e.; SELF REALISATION which means “Knowing the Divinity in you’’ and existing around you.
An enlightened person should not waste his valuable life in vain pursuits which are temporary and of no use. But by helping the poor, the diseased and the disabled, you will get the grace of GOD.
Man must develop two qualities:
1. Fear of sin
2. Devotion to GOD
The nature of our main goal is – to realize the God.
Never laugh at anybody (but laugh with them) and also not insult anybody.
You are a part of this universe of GOD’s Creation, so you must be pure in thought and deed, truthful to your Conscience, free from egoism and be spotless. These good qualities must be manifested through you in your daily life. You should not take bribes, not scold others, and not harm others but talk to others with love, affection and full of sympathy.
You may have accumulated wealth, acquired many degrees, and having name and fame in the society, it becomes no use, unless you have gained the vision of the SUPREME SOVEREIGN (GOD, The Almighty), and an aspiration to be ever in that ecstasy of that vision.
All that achieved in this world are mere lumber with out GOD.
Ex. Mahabharata is a great epic of India, which describes a war between the kauravas and the Pandavas. The kauravas had superior financial and military resources .They approach the Lord Krishna (The incarnation of GOD) for help in the war and contented with a large army and military hardware, provided by the Lord. But, the Pandavas sought from Him, only His grace. Held just a whip and draw the horses of Arjuna’s chariot. The war took place for 18 days. Ultimately, the Kauravas were defeated miserably. The Pandavas won the battle and gained the empire and eternal fame.
So if you apply the above war incident to your life, there will be no failures in your daily activities, as GOD is on your side.
Swamiji also preached like this: Man has to become Divine, from which he has come. So he has lessened his attachment to this world and act as if he is an instrument in the hands of GOD. He should subdue his egoism. Man should have single-minded devotion to the dictates of GOD called’ DHARMA’ (the righteousness).
